5inco is a personal project I'm developing with my girlfriend. We constantly struggle to figure out what to do in São Paulo, there are so many good options that it's almost impossible to decide the best ones. That's why we are creating 5inco.and Interaction Design.
5inco is an iPhone app that will help people to discover the city and enjoy it with their friends. Everyday we will post 5 new things to do in São Paulo in 5 different categories: Art, Outdoor, Food, Music and a random event. We believe that providing less options will help people deal better with the information overload and go out and enjoy what the city has to offer.
Personal project I'm developing to explore some physical computing and product design capabilities. The digital shaker is an electronic cocktail shaker that will help ordinary people create drinks as delicious as professional mixologists. With the help of technology, users will always know the exact amount of each ingredient that should go on each drink.
Voodoo doll is an exploration of how analog interactions can interfere in the digital world. The doll has sensors that detects when someone is putting a needle on it, and displays the needle in the digital avatar of it on the screen, also giving visual feedback through LED's on the eyes and sound. Developed in collaboration with Burcum Turkmen for Physical Computing class.
Personal project developed for Code for Art class. Digital art piece generated through algorithm animation. Exploration of particles systems and how algorithm animation and code can be used to generate lifelike and organic animations. Some of the tactics used are vector fields, attraction and repulsion and sinusoidal movements.
After some experiments I decided to try to make an interactive art instalation. Gone with the wind is a proposal for an Interactive installation that explores the individual presence and importance in urban context. In big urban cities people come and go, disappearing and merging with the scenario. This project aims to make people aware and reflect upon it. There will be a big screen installed on the city and when the users cross it, they will see their reflex on it as if it was a mirror and their reflex will disappear and merge with the city.
Entered The Room
Interactive installation made to reflect on how our virtual relations and on the content of it. The project pulls data from online chats and places it on a physical space. The software recognizes the face of participants and insert a speech bubble with the online dialogues on it.
